Sarah McComish
Sarah is a strong actress / singer based in Glasgow. Trained at Central School of Speech and Drama, Sarah has a particular skill with accents, comedy and music.
This year Sarah will be appearing as Father Bridges in Graeme Maleys all female cast original stage adaptation of Walter Van Tilberg Clarks 'The Track of The Cat' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has also recently wrapped on feature film ‘Showreel’ starring Matthew Kelly due for release early 2011. Other highlights have included a series of plays for Rikki Beadle Blair (Tristan Bates Theatre), Sheila Bryant in ‘A Chorus Line’ (Gilmorehill), Ayah in Kismet (Arcola Theatre), infamous comedy review show ‘Newsrevue’ (Canal Café Theatre), speed dating satire ‘Ready, Steady, Date’ (Edinburgh Festival), and regular work shopping of all female characters for forthcoming feature film ‘Peter’ (Preslin Pictures Ltd)
As a singer Sarah has performed genres from Folk to Funk at top venues including The Royal Albert Hall, T in the Park and The Glastonbury Festival.
