After seeing Dean, the UKs biggest shopping channel, QVC, enrolled him as one of there main presenters. It was at QVC that he mastered his skill at product presentation, sales and TV production.
After five years at QVC Dean was then head hunted by Granada Televisions new channel Shop! and continued bringing his unique style to a new audience. During these periods he also helped produce and present many one off infomercials and hosted live shows for major companies such as Wahl Hair Products and DHL International.
After spending a year at Shop! Dean was asked to join the team at Ideal World’ where he spent his time again presenting live, a wide range of products on a regular basis. During his time here Dean also became the regular host for Golf TV presenting and interviewing major golf personalities here and in the USA for over four years. While here he also co-wrote and presented three or four interactive daytime game shows including, Dare and Its Your Call that ran for over two years. Working in these shows showcased Deans talents and although over the last few years he has actively stayed as one of the most recognizable faces in home shopping, he has also attracted the attention of major TV channels and has piloted a few daytime shows, eventually seeing him present Channel 5s daytime quiz show ‘Going for Gold’. Again at this time he continued, and still continues to represent many brands in commercials, infomercials and other broadcasts.
Always working, Dean currently is currently editing a documentary about his adventures on a motorcycle due to be released in the autumn. Dean’s lively and enthusiastic style means that he is very much in demand and with over 10,000 hours of live TV to his name Dean has been working constantly since 1997 in a very competitive industry. His likable demeanor and his working knowledge make him a great asset to any production.
