Edgemedia Controversial TV aims to provide a platform for alternative view points and suppressed information. Controversial TV is a dynamic and original channel, able to boast many unique selling points and features we have been a part of. As well as a production team, the channel boasts a full studio facility with live broadcast capability which is used once a week for our in house show ‘On the Edge’ with Theo Chalmers’, (10,000 viewers) a topical current affairs chat show based around significant political, scientific, environmental and social issues with the aim of providing an alternative to the main stream broadcasts.

Controversial TV particularly appeals to fans who have become disillusioned with mainstream ‘reality’ television, soaps, dramas and entertainment shows, and want something that will feed the intellect and get the viewers asking questions again rather than being spoon fed a version of the truth which leaves out so many fundamental issues. We have found that once people start watching our channel they stop watching other channels as it becomes abundantly clear that they are stunted in the their intellectual capacity to provide new ways of inspiring people’s imaginations.

Controversial TV attracts around 1.5 million viewers a month. We do not receive any sponsorship or advertising revenue from large corporations, NGO’s or charity’s, most of our revenue to pay for the channel costs come from donations, DVD sales and adverts for small businesses that benefit from our audience demographic.
