Charles and James Bagnell

The Orwell Veterinary Group in Ipswich, Suffolk is a family affair. The team is headed up by Charles Bagnall and his younger brother James. Both have aspired to be vets since childhood and fulfilled a life long ambition by setting up practice together in 1996.

The unique brotherly combination has brought success. The practice was voted Petplan Practice of the Year at the Veterinary Awards (the industry equivalent of the Oscars) in 2008.

Since winning the top veterinary prize two years ago, the Orwell Veterinary Group has continued to go from strength to strength. They have recently launched ‘www.petprescription.co.uk’ an online pet dispensary and information web site for pet owners. A valuable resource to help pet owners understand more about pets and their illnesses and allowing pet owners to buy drugs for their animals online without having to drive to their vet practice.
