Cat Locohie

Originally from Newcastle, Cat worked and trained with Newcastle’s ‘Northern Stage Ensemble’ and London’s, ‘Rough Cut Theatre’ before graduating from Middlesex University and continuing her training at The Actors Temple.

Professional theatre credits include, THE BALLROOM OF ROMANCE (Newcastle Playhouse), A SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS (New End Theatre), BURLESQUE-ESQUE (New Players Theatre), CRAVE (Trinity Buoy Wharf), THE SWORD IN THE STONE (Cambridge Arts Theatre and East Anglia Tour) THE MYSTERY OF EDGAR ALLEN POE (Germany and Switzerland Tour with TNT/ADG Europe)

Film credits include the lead role Gia in Bollywood feature SOUL RAIN playing opposite Rahul Roy, the lead role of Alice playing opposite Tony Mortimer in the psychological thriller, GREENWICH VILLAGE MASSACRE and has recently finished shooting the lead role in SOUL SURVIVOR directed by Matt Levenson. 

TV credits include the role of Witch Guinevere Westmorland in Children's TV series SPOOKED and providing the voice-over for ITV commercial CITY OF SUNDERLAND COLLEGE. Most recently she played the female lead in sitcom pilot THE JOKE SHOP (currently under consideration for TV distribution). Cat also features in the official promotional music video for DARK TRANQUILITY entitled MONOCHROMATIC STAINS and as the Female Scientist in COLD CUT's official promotional music video EVERYTHING'S UNDER CONTROL. 

On the web Cat appears as the face of Millets presenting the consumer help guide on www.millets.co.uk and is also one of the regular presenters on Musical Talk - the UK's independant musical theatre podcast at www.musicaltalk.co.uk

Cat also performs regularly with London’s longest running cabaret troupe THE KITTEN CLUB (Madame JoJos, Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Volupte, New Players Theatre), appearing as her self-devised cabaret and compere character ‘Vixen DeVille’, (www.VixenDeVille.com) and has performed alongside guest stars such as Richard O’Brien, Lucy Porter, Hattie Hayridge and Milton Jones as well as TV appearances on BBC3 and ITV.
