This is a service provided by Sky TV. Similar to subtitles for the deaf or hard of hearing, Audio description is provided for the blind or partially sighted and involves providing descriptions of onscreen activity between the spoken dialogue.

Work includes sport, documentaries (eg Ross Kemp, Martina Cole on gangs) drama series ( eg Cold Case, Bones, Prison Break, The Take ) and movies ( eg Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, Elizabeth the Golden Age, X Files)
She is currently writing and voicing the latest and last series of LOST for Sky One.

She began her career as a reporter on local newspapers before joining LBC RADIO in London where she presented and produced news, magazine and award winning phone in programmes for nearly 30 years as well as newsreading for the commercial radio network.

She has voiced TV ad campaigns, corporate videos, and promos and idents for Capital Radio and ITV, produced and presented on BBC Southern Counties Radio, and reported for Classic FM at the funeral of Princess Diana.

She has voiced training series for Macmillan nurses, and the Office of Fair Trading and presented syndicated interviews for the commercial radio network and voices the MS Society’s magazine for the visually impaired.

She has presented a Saturday morning live childrens show on ITV and two series for Channel Four on leisure activities and Sky Challenge for BSKYB and guested on Capital Woman. Barrymore, Vets In Practise and Duncan Goodhew’s sporting challenge
